Universal Bakes 2 Nicome - Tokyo

I loved the western (mushroom croque monsieur) and the Japanese bakes (curry pan, sweet potato doughnut, hojicha espresso pecan bread)! So so good. Plus great coffee!

Oh my god the chocolate donut.. I don’t know how it has the right to be so delicious. I’m convinced anything made at Universal Bakes is bound to be amazing. The chocolate and raspberry croissant was so decadent and the salty bun with kelp inside was out of this world!

I mean, we only tried 2 flavors and regretted not getting more!!! My favorite item ended up being a salty roll with kelp on the inside! So unique, and absolutely delicious

Lovely bakery and well worth a trip here if you are in the area! Tried the curry bread, cinnamon doughnut and the mixed bag of day old bread (sweet bean paste bread, raisin roll and sweet potato bread) Doughnut and curry bread was very light and fluffy. Everything full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and descriptions were in English. Lots of seating area outside to eat
