Bidrage med feedbackGreat discovery in the centre of Tlayacapan right next to the cerería. Diverse menu that stretches from the Mexican classics through to Spanish tapas and pizzas/pasta - truly something for everyone's taste. We tried the cecina, arrachera and the sopa de tortilla and all were delicious - it's obvious that the owners take care over the quality of the food and it's presentation. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the dishes. They also boast more than 60 Mexican craft beers, and a wide selection of tequilas and mezcales, with some of the latter available "a granel", that's to say, from small barrels. They have Tobalá, Espadin, Madre Cuixe, all excellent. We ate in the afternoon, but chatting to the owner he told me they have regular events in the evenings, from live music to theme nights, and information on these can be found updated on their Facebook page. There is a terrace outside for al fresco dining (bring a thick sweater as the temperature plummets at night) and tables inside for a more intimate ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be returning, the combination of tasty well-prepared food, decent beer and mezcal would be a winning combination in any Mexican town or city, but to stumble across this place in the centre of Tlayacapan was our best surprise of the Christmas holidays. We haven't been very often to this town, but we'll surely be returning more frequently from now on.
