Mamma Mia - Tlatlauquitepec

I have been staying in Puerto Viejo for a while. There are places in town that have better toppings on their pizza than Mama Mia, but in terms of quality, Mama Mia is way ahead of the rest. I had Hawaiin pizza which is a...bit of a standard, but it was cooked spectacularly in front of us, the pizza dough was thin and perfect, the ham (which I'm usualy dubious of when it comes to pizza) was delicious and the pineapple seems wonderful, not sure how you make better tasting pineapple but they did. I was very impressed and will definitely be eating here again.

The owner is so rude that I am surprised every time I see people in the restaurant. We are half local and have seen twice the owner openly show aggression towards passersby. The pizza next door at Lena's is brilliant...credible value and stunning delicious!

Amazing, thin, hand tossed dough and super fresh toppings make a great pizza. The welcoming staff made me feel like an old friend. Good people, great pizza.
