Casa Luna - Tlaquepaque

We were told that this was a good place to eat and found it to be true. I have celiac disease and our waiter was very worth knowing what I could eat safely. The atmosphere was elegant and we even met David Luna when we were gone. His leather handbags are extremely beautiful! I wish I could afford it.

On our business trip to visit our distillery in Tequila, we had a day to explore Guadalajara/Tlaquepaque and our accompaniment has advised us about Casa Luna. It was a great recommendation! When we entered, they were amazed by the establishment and vivacity of the restaurant. Our service was amazing and the food was exceptional! My husband ordered the chicken mol and he said it was the best mole he ever had. I definitely recommend getting the Cantaritos drink as it was delicious and a great experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend Casa Luna for anyone visiting the area, you will not be disappointed!

This was the MOST AWFUL dining experience we have had in Mexico. We had strolled by while shopping in the afternoon and it looked lovely and the menu looked OK. When we came back for dinner it was awful. The music was so loud that I could not hear my dining companions that were 24 inches away. We asked our waitress if we could turn down the music. She did her best. Her name was Manuela and she was a good server. But the fact that they play this something electronic dance club music at full volume made our dinner truly terrible. I can’t even rate the food because my head is splitting from that loud awful terrible miserable music. In hindsight I should’ve insisted we turn tail and get the heck out of there as soon as we were seated. If you value your hearing stay away!

En tlaquepaque este restaurant tiene la mejor cocina y servicio en un lugar de decoracion extraordinaria. Lo recomiendo mucho. Vale la pena no perderselo
