Atras da Matriz - Tiradentes

This is a nice, more expensive than mid-range restaurant located, obviously, behind the main church. After watching the lights show in the church (highly recommend), we went there for dinner. We had pizza and codfish, both excellent. It's not cheap but it's a good option for higher-quality meals in Tiradentes. It might be a bit far-off if you're not planing to climb up the hill to get there.

I have been here at least four times and the food is always great! You can sit very inside or outside. The view on the mountains is nice! At night they use the wood furnace for making pizzas. Fish as well meat is great here. Very quiet environment compared to the market place. Must go to place! Enjoy.

Nice atmosphere...good service...but food wise, including their speciality (cod fish), very disappointing...very expensive...I would not go back.

I had twice dinner in this restaurant and it was great! The food, especially known for fish and firewood furnace pizza, is great! The staff is very friendly, advising you well and all courses were great! Try the cot fish, very good! And also the filet mignon. You can sit outside! I little bit out of the center of Tiradentes, but nice an quiet! Enjoy, great food and relaxed atmosphere!

Different types of food, all just great. My kids had pizza and loved it. my parents went for the Trouta ( fish) and it was excelent. We had a traditional local soup. Great service, and located in a nice area. Excelent price.
