Great first stop using the Old Military road from Dublin. Friendly, clean rooms, nice pint and a great breakfast. A small town gem. Service: 5

What a lovely hotel and pub, the room was very nice the staff were friendly and helpful the food was superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. Service: 5

Didn’t stay at the hotel but had breakfast there two mornings. First morning the breakfast was fine. Second morning we ordered the poached eggs and got served them with custard instead of hollandaise. Lovely girl who served us took our plates back so we could get a new one, this time with hollandaise but with a hamburger bun instead of proper bread. Not a great start to our day of hiking.

Loved, loved, LOVED Murphy's Hotel and Pub. We stayed for two nights, and had dinner at the pub both evenings we felt like family after the first hour! Eileen was an absolute delight, and even though we barely knew her, we both missed her after we left. Hotel rooms are cozy and comfortable, and absolutely spotless. My husband is ready to move to Tinehaly after this visit! Service: 5
