Pacific - Tillamook

Unfortunately, we didn’t receive good service initially. Each of us ordered an entree, a cup of chowder, and drinks. After finding a table, we settled in and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally, we had to flag someone down (the place was nearly empty) to ask for our drinks. They returned with our beverages, but the wait continued. We waited about 25-30 minutes for our food. Eventually, our entrees arrived, but they came back later with our chowder, which should have been served while we were waiting for our main dishes. Neither of us enjoyed the chowder; we barely touched it. My wife ordered fish and chips, which featured cod that she found quite good, although the fries were cold, despite tasting fine. When the staff checked on us, we mentioned the cold fries, and they promptly brought us a fresh, hot batch. I had a cheeseburger that was fairly tasty, served on a ciabatta bun. The staff stopped by our table several times to ask if everything was okay. While there were plenty of staff members, there seemed to be a lack of organization. Perhaps dinner service is better, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t consider returning.

I've never written a review before, but I feel compelled to share my experience this time. Let's start with the positives: the staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a unique atmosphere. My wife and I opted for the fish and chips, having enjoyed them in various places like New England, North Carolina, and Washington, as well as during our trip to Arizona. Unfortunately, the fish was not only overpriced but also bland and tasteless. My wife joked that it reminded her of the frozen fish sticks from the movie "Summer Rental." I know that many negative reviews come from chronic complainers, but we are not those people—this meal was truly disappointing. I share this feedback in hopes of helping the owner or chef understand that the quality of the food does not match the high prices they are charging.

Wow! the salmon was exquisite. the seafood linguine tasted phenomenal. the goat cheese and berry salad were pretty good. not my favorite choice of dressing, but I tasted why they had the tart sharpness against the sweet.

For a chic night outside, this is her place when she is in the tillamook area. I had the laughs it was a large portion size and was super delicious. the service was friendly and attentive, despite several reviews that the service was missing. the drinks were decent as dessert. we're coming back.
