La Pena de Carlitos - Tilcara

We travelled to Humahuaca in a group of Purmamarca to visit the sights. Our guide suggested we eat in this local restaurant that offered us a 3 course meal for 400 pesos that we thought was quite reasonable. We chose the goat stew with potatoes for our main course and it was delicious. I thought it was similar to the lamb. The service was very fast with our large group. The restaurant is centrally located to other attractions, so a good place during the tour.

Great option in Tilcara. Live music, pretty decent prices, beautiful food and great atmosphere. It is always overcrowded by locals, but worth the delay!. Simple but beautiful place!.

My husband, my son and I attended a night here, especially for music. We were advised to come there at 7.30, and it was a good work that we did as it fills up early. There was a great atmosphere and Carlitos sang with a friend of his keyboard. The music was excellent, very warm and emotional. Carlitos also spoke to the audience a little, including finding out where everyone came from. The food and service were good, and everything in all it was a great experience.

This restaurant its own history fo tilcara, with its dishes and atmosphere. The beloved were fantastic and very fast., the dishes amazing and very large. The price was very good. Unfortunately you could not pay with credit card or debit card

If you are lucky to find place (go before 7:30 or after 21:00), you will experience a very good dinner. Good tipical food, atmosphere and place. Raccomanded
