Bidrage med feedbackBeautiful restaurant with good food and excellent margaritas. that is only the second time in my life that I went to dinner alone. felt very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. I had the chicken Fajitas and a mango margarita. chips and...salsa were free. I was very glad I found my choice. would definitely recommend this restaurant.
They asked me to go next door and wait for a table so that we decided to stay next door where the big guy promised he would come and look for...from hahahaha. the kerl cannot find his thoughts. So we stayed we drank 2 bottles of wine, the waiter was happy-go-lucky with us and we told him we wanted to pull out, he said I'm going to raise you. so he built us. we asked for worms tortillas, he gave us no tortillas, we asked for mush, we got the hotel with fish broth, and then we wanted to eat carne asada and that is what we received.
This is a fun place for drinks and dinner. They have great happy hour specials until 10 on Friday, including two for one on many of their drinks. The food was good, but the atmosphere is what made it great. They have several mariachi bands,...sometimes playing at the same time, so it does get a little loud. There was also a magician who performed table side, and he amazed us all. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends.
This was a happy hour experience late afternoon/early evening on a weekday before the dinner hour. Observing it during later hours indicates this restaurant and its companion, attached by a breezeway, are often very busy. (Later, we heard the other restaurant has much better food. ...We walked into the Los Remedios and it was nearly empty except for one party of about 6 or 8 with a Mariachi band surrounding their table and playing loudly. Several trumpets, of course, were playing and the curvature of the tiled ceiling made the noise bounce around and fill the entire large room. It was impossible to hear someone else talking at your own table. We opted for the outdoor roofed area where the band was not so loud. The four of us sat at a cocktail-style table and two of us ordered Margaritas. When the waiter brought them, there were FOUR Margaritas on the tray! When we questioned their number, the waiter simply said HAPPY HOUR! That was a plus we didn 't expect! The food, Mexican, of course, was so-so. The meat was not great quality in my fajitas and the flavor was somewhat bland. All in all, we went out with satisfied bellies but taste buds wishing for more.
Very good food, cheap. I had the tacos. the mariachis played all the time when we were there. some of a sports bar theme, also the televisions for viewing futbol were excellent.
