Not sure I can agree with Anthony D, Myself and my family found the staff to be very polite, helpful and professional. Food was delicious and served in good time, We also politely, waited to be seated, therefore having a clean and fully prepared table to sit at. Do not let a poorly worded review put you off of visiting, we will all definitely return to the treacle mine pub in the future.

Came for dinner with my partner, staff were friendly and accomodating from the moment we walked through the door. My partner had a mega mixed grill which he said was really nice and I had the salmon which was also very nice. Deserts were lovely too, I enjoyed the crumble and my partner liked his banoffee cheese cake. Great value for money, nice atmosphere would definitely recommend and we will be back again. Thank you to Ben and Mollie who were our servers on this occasion, very polite, friendly and professional and couldn't do more to make us feel welcome.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with some friends and our babies. They were able to accommodate my double stroller, which was great. The supervisor, Ben, was very friendly, as well as our waitress Mollie and Jade at the bar. The food was fantastic, so thanks to the kitchen staff. We left with full stomachs and big smiles. We will definitely be coming back again.

I visited this restaurant with friends on a Friday evening for food and drinks, and I was disappointed to see how much it had changed for the worse. The general manager seemed disinterested, there were only three staff members working during a busy shift, and the place was a mess. They even served my cocktails in Pepsi glasses because they didn't have proper cocktail glasses. Some off-duty staff were vaping inside the pub, ignoring requests to stop from the duty manager, Sam. There were also a lot of rowdy youngsters in the pub, making it feel more like a youth club than a family-friendly establishment. The company should consider getting a new manager to restore the pub to its former state. Despite the chaotic situation, Sam did her best and deserves praise for her hard work. I will not be returning to this pub, as it is a shame to see it decline from its previous charm.
