THe Tandoori - THURGOONA

I ordered the lamb josh rogan with rice for lunch. I was given the choice of a premade container or a fresh serving. The flavors were excellent!

We decided to try takeout from this restaurant, as we are big fans of Indian food. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the very beginning. While the online ordering system was user-friendly, the prices were high. When we arrived to pick up our food at the scheduled time (90 minutes after ordering), our order was initially lost. After a 10-minute wait, they eventually found our order but couldn't identify what we had ordered. The food we brought home was bland and tough, served in smaller-than-normal trays. The naan bread was only a single serving, a detail that was not mentioned on the menu (most other restaurants serve 2-3 pieces per serving). Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we do not plan on returning.

The food at this restaurant is pretty good considering the price. The naan bread is especially delicious. Just don't count on delivery being punctual.

When we arrived to collect the food at the prescribed time, btw, 90 minutes after we ordered. They had lost our order, then they found it but could not tell what we ordered. Then after 10 minutes of mucking around had to proceed to cook it while we waited. When we eventually got the food home it was bland, tough and in smaller than normal trays. The naan was single servings which also wasn't specified on the menu as we find most other restaurants are 2 to 3 pieces per serving. Dissapointing and won't be going back.

Fairly good food for the price you pay. The naan from here is really good. Just dont expect delivery to be on time.
