Anchor Ore - Thunder Bay

Food was excellent but the wait staff were poorly trained and with the live music it was very difficult to hear yourself think!!

Was refused a bottle of champagne due to being alone. They said only if I had a room but was not given time to answer if i had a room. I was very disappointed as I was celebrating and would have corked the bottle. I was a bar manager for several years and there is no law that a single diner cannot order a bottle of wine. I will not be returning.

Really enjoyed the Friday Jazz and the ribs were excellent.

The location was nice, the brisket meal was dry, tasteless and very tough, the exception was the brussel sprouts. I was given a gravy to moisten the brisket and it too was tasteless. It was a very disappointing meal.
