McArthurs Pub Thun

Visited for dinner on a weeknight. Ate outside and ordered Fish Chips and the Vegetable Pie. Menu had some traditional pub choices as well as salads and burgers. Great service. Laid back , friendly environment—order food and drinks at the bar and they will...deliver to your table.

I've been there for lunch and was surprised by the variation of food they had. Apart from that, it's everything you'd expect from an Irish Pub. Sports on several TV-Screens, traditional Irish interior and good Irish beer.

This is a well done Pub...but its all some Corporate Interior Designers Dream. Not real functional seating. While we enjoyed the beers the atmosphere was lacking. It was very nice the day we were there and the outdoor area was open ,but loaded with smokers...so...we left for something more smoke free.

Went to Thun on Palm Sunday and not a lot was open but mcarthurs pub was thankfully. They have a burger clearly marked vegan and our nice waitress even asked if we’d like the fries cooked in a separate fryer than everything else which was really nice. Burger was actually pretty good.

You can choose either the vegan bagel (with carrot, cabbage, tomato and salsa) or the indian vegetable curry with rice. Both are perfectly fine but nothing extraordinary, especially the curry can't compete with an Indian restaurant.
