La Taverna Del Galet - Thuir

Beautiful personal well presented eating light hick with the chèvre chaud salat, but otherwise good best chips! aioli! terrible! easy with the overpriced drinks and the good price also cheap lunch, plat combinés . 79€ for 2 bit above the...top but will be more careful next time.

La taverna del galet is located in a quiet next street, about 5 minutes walk from the city center of thuir. we ate here on 3.6.16 and although we had not booked in advance, we arrived early enough to get a table in this charming, popular family restaurant. we were very welcome when we arrived. the restaurant itself is medium sized, traditional in style, clean and comfortable. the French Catalan cuisine was delicious, well cooked and quite expensive. I think most people would have only two courses, so if they want to dessert one, they should probably miss the starter. service was excellent in all areas lively, friendly and efficient. Although our knowledge about the French language is very limited, there was no problem to order our food. on a practical note, this restaurant is not open every day and seems to open later in the evening than many English restaurants, so if you want to come here, I suggest that they find out in advance when it is open and possibly book a table as is quite popular with locals. although there is no parking next to the restaurant thuir has a free public parking a short walk away. overall we had a nice evening in del galet.

Our two friends from england were back with us, but were not yet in this restaurant. they chose the cote de boeuf and were amazed and enthusiastic about the quality of the meat and the sheer size of the part. I couldn't finish. my delicious derecote, although my partner manages its delicious dee. there was no problem at all to the friendly staff to give us a (big). doggy bag to take home and they offer a choke so that, while we have fun drinking from the porron, we don't all about ourselves! it is not easy to find this small restaurant, but it is worth it!

Le personnel très gentil bonne convivialité, le repas excellent autant le poisson que la viande, les assiettes bien remplis,il vaut mieux réserver car la réputation du restaurant fait qu'il y a du monde .Je recommande cette petite taverne !

Ma femme ma petite fille et moi meme avons trouve cette bonne table sur trip advisor, malheureusement l'adresse etait fausse .Apres une bonne demie heure de marche dans les rue de thuir nous voila arrive a la taverne.L'accueil etait tres bon des gens sympathiques .La nourriture gouteuse et de tres bonne qualite;Je recommande cette taverne ;pour informationl'adresse est 2 rue dugommier et non pas rue de la republique;
