Double D’s Grill And Saloon

When my steak arrived, it was perfectly seasoned and cooked just as I requested. It was the most tender and flavorful sirloin I’ve ever had. Typically, I go for ribeyes or fillets because they're usually more tender, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good this sirloin was. The baked potato was cooked just right and included all the usual toppings. One small detail that I appreciated, though it might not matter to everyone, was the quality of the silverware. Many restaurants today use flimsy utensils, but these had a nice weight and feel to them. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!

I typically spend my time in the bar area when I visit after work. The food and service are excellent, but it's really the people that make this place enjoyable.

Throckmorton is truly fortunate to have Double D's. Dave and his family-led team are amazing and continuously strive to enhance their menu. The steaks are outstanding, and the specials really are something special. It's wonderful to have a place where you can enjoy a meal and a cocktail or catch a game with friends. I've only experienced a couple of their live music performances during my visits, but I realized how much I missed that atmosphere. Saying we'll return might sound trivial, but honestly, we already visit quite often. Keep up the excellent work, Dave!
