Impromptu dinner with family and friends. A lovely Sunday roast, excellent quality, cooking and presentation. Sam and Karol provided us with superb service. Thank you for a great evening.

Good sized restaurant bar with plenty of seating both inside and out. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The food quality was high, portion sizes large and prices reasonable given the quality. The wine list was varied and priced fairly. With plenty of free on site parking, we will definitely be back.

A fantastic roast by Sam and Karol. Lovely atmosphere and great food. All of the food was delicious and well cooked will definitely come back.

Another enjoyable lunch with my Mum at The Gate. Service is so kind and attentive and the atmosphere is warm and lively. Mum’s fish and chips was as good as usual but I’m not a fan of the new accompaniments to the steak dishes. Bring back the watercress and onion rosti and ditch the slimy exotic’ mushrooms please.

Lovely food, atmosphere buzzy and comfortable. Extra shout out for our waitress, Izzy. She was so helpful in both menu assistance and our 6 year old well behaved guest. We all praised her cheerfulness and efficiency, a great ambassador for your company.
