Featherbone Lnge - Three Oaks

Featherbone is not a fine dining establishment; rather, it is a cozy neighborhood restaurant and bar. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you might even hear locals singing their favorite songs. The food is quite good for the price, and they offer a great selection including a full bar and affordable draft beer. The staff is friendly, and I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was very pleasant. I have never had a bad meal or service there. Occasionally, they seem to have more customers than staff, but that’s something you see at many places.

This may have been the worst dining experience we've ever had. While the waitress was friendly, the food was unappetizing. The portobello burger featured a poorly washed mushroom on stale bread. The fries were obviously frozen and overcooked. The patty melt was inedible. We felt completely cheated when we received the bill. We will never return to this restaurant.

I visited Featherbone Restaurant, located at 6741 US Highway 12 in Three Oaks, MI 49128, on March 11, 2012, at 6 PM to catch up with some friends and family I hadn't seen in a while (who were from out of town).
