Sugarbox Donuts - Thousand Oaks

The customer service experience was unpleasant. The woman assisting me was rude and seemed upset because I only ordered one donut.

Great selection of donuts fill their glass cases and the quality is always consistent. They have some nice specialty doughnuts like their cronuts and character donuts which kids are always wowed by. I really like that they are open later in the evening. There have been plenty of times we've been craving donuts after dinner and picked up a few and the doughnuts were still fresh. Customer service is always pleasant and they do a good job of taking on the groups of customers that come by on the weekends. Their bear claw and apple fritters are a standout if you like those styles of doughnuts. I think they have some of the best ones in the area.

To begin with, I'm irritated. Not Sugarbox's fault. Well actually it is. I swore off sugar a few years ago because it was destroying me after a lifetime of sugar addiction. My wife has been asking for some donuts for months, so I finally went to Sugarbox, and cheated by getting myself a couple. Yikes, I couldn't believe how good they were. Light and fluffy almost. Not like the average heavy donuts at most shops.And conveniently right around the corner from my house.

I’m visiting from Georgia and a Krispy Kreme girl. I had the glazed donut and it is the best donut I’ve ever had. So good!

Good place for donut holes for the grandkids, but it's very pricey.
