Rita's Italian Ice - Thousand Oaks

I'm excited to see a Lancaster, Pennsylvania favorite has opened a location nearby! Oh, it's actually located in a gas station - Google Maps can be misleading.

What a cute little spot in! I was looking all over for the Italian ice store, not realizing it 's in the Chevron. The only comparable I know of at the moment is Leone 's Italian Ice in Thousand Oaks. That one has more flavor options and variety, but for what it is, I love it! The worker Geeta was so kind and was happy to provide samples. It gets a 4 because of location and Italian ice selections--flavors could have been more classic rather than originals like sweetish fish . With limited space and options, I 'd rather have normal flavors.

I wouldn't recommend adding apple pie as a topping. When they mix it all together, it tastes like you're eating applesauce. LOL.
