Saddle Mountain Restaurant

A beautiful place among the mountains, with remarkably good German dishes. Also a good place for a fast burger.

We stayed twice this summer on our way to Osoyoos. Our server Hunter remembered us. He was an excellent good for the restaurant and hopeful return. Just what was wrong was the owner who was very busy to manage the staff. It even made me uncomfortable. Let employees do their work please

From the beginning to the end our time was excellent! From the amazing pizzas, burgers and pasta to our amazing server Sarah-Mae! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a locally produced homemade food! Everyone was friendly and there was such a comfortable...feeling to the entire restaurant.

This is a rare find on a roadtrip! A restaurant that not only serves great food with a great atmosphere but also does it with outstanding staff and it is in the middle of nowhere! If you are driving between Kamloops and Jasper make time...to eat here! you will not be disappointed. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee with Pie, it does not matter! Speed up or slow down your travels and make this a destination dining experience. We hit this after 6 days on Murtle Lake wilderness Canoe Trip eating dried wilderness food. Not only did they accommodate our group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) they did it better than most restaurants in a large city. 3 of the adults had the Diamond Head Burger and claimed it was the best burgers they ever had! One of our crew is Vegetarian and was floored by the number of meal choices. I do not know how this place gets rated anything less than Very Good. So good we came back for Lunch the next day! Go here. Eat. Enjoy the scenery. Be impressed. I dare you.
