Fantastic ice in Thionville's pedestrian area! We were there while the local fresh mirabelles were seasonal, which we had never eaten before. My husband enjoyed the mirabelle ice and I enjoyed the lemon on the pistachio. The lemon was shiny and tasty and the pistachio was rich and creamy. Great combination! I like to contrast a flavor of acidified fruit with a richer flavor of chocolate, nuts or dairy products. In addition, the dishes were really crispy, not stale as in some places.
