The Hive Grill - Thief River Falls

The first three times I visited The Hive, everything was excellent. However, the last three times were disappointing. The food was overcooked and greasy, and the waitstaff lacked courtesy to apologize for the issues. When a new dish was brought out or if someone finished their meal, they did not offer to remove the item from the bill. It seems like the quality of the food has declined, while the prices have gone up. I'm not sure if there has been a change in management in recent years. It's unfortunate to see The Hive go downhill. After our meal today, we decided that it would be our last visit. It's a shame.

I have tried numerous new dishes at this restaurant and have enjoyed each one. From the walleye to the traditional vernaculars, pulled pork sandwich, pulled chicken dill sandwich, pork bites, etc., they have all been delicious. I have also tried all of the burgers on the menu and the D-Train and ultimate bacon cheeseburger are my top picks so far! The wide selection of beers is what makes it hard for me to decide on my order!

The restaurant offers generous portion sizes and attentive service. They also have options for those with gluten allergies. I would definitely recommend it.

The food was good. we had steak and it was supposed to come with two sides, but we were charged for one of the sides. other than being overloaded, it was fine, the meal tasted good

So it took 10 minutes to get seated and wasn't busy and then went to order for 2 and took a hour to get our food was not impressed at all I won't ever go back that's for sure
