Consistently good!. My family and I have eaten several times here while we travel to the area. It is one of the most reliable meals served in every restaurant in Thibodaux. The cook is very protective about its recipes and prepares every dish. This allows consistency and quality. The dinners are large and the Mandarin Chicken is one of the best dishes to order freshly prepared. We recommend this dish, along with the buffet.

Fantastic food, better service. Had the Envie for some really good Chinese food lately and this place exceeded expectations. We have 2 plates to go from the buffet (yes they currently have a buffet). The staff will put your plate with everything you want, and they will put more in the polystyrene container than you can imagine. I hope everyone supports this restorer as I hate closing them. Eat here and you won't be dissapointed!!

The staff is always polite and friendly. In a city where we don't know many, we always feel welcome and talk. In the 20 years we did, we never had a bad meal. Her fried chicken is the best in town.

Chinese Chef's is a smaller buffet than the typical american Chinese buffet. However, the fare that is on offer is much higher quality because there is less of it. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had there, most of it being very good. I would not recommend the ice cream out if the soft serve machine based on my last experience. Too crystalline. Other than the ice cream, everything else is great!
