The Country Kitchen Restaurant

A ten minute drive on a scenic back road brings you to a warm and friendly dining experience on the shores of Wakomata Lake. Order from a simple menu or enjoy a variety of dishes from the buffet when it's available. We have a cottage resort nearby and we often go to the Country Kitchen with friends and family, and recommend it to our guests. A great destination or stop on the snowmobile trails in winter or ATV trails the rest of the year. Prices are reasonable and service is fast and friendly.

Roger, Claire and JP ensure every detail is handled for an excellent meal at a phenomenal price. Definitely an asset to Wakomata Shores Resort. The atmosphere is friendly and warm and the wood burning fireplace keeps you cozy and warm. I highly recommend that you visit!

Excellent, friendly welcoming staff serving delicious, hardy meals in a warm lovely dining room. The dining room has a beautiful fireplace and the seating is comfortable. There is a bar where you can get whatever you want to drink. We enjoyed our meals here.

The Country Kitchen is an added bonus to the area of Wakomata Shores Resort/lake. The food is very enjoyable and the service is friendly and efficient. The Wakomata Red soup is great!!

Everything we tried was excellent! I had a hamburger and ceasar salad and Don had the beef stir fry. Very tasty and friendly service.
