Torchy's Tacos - The Woodlands

I love love the Ace of Spades taco on the secret menu and today's was super yummy! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, service was friendly and the Michelob Ultra draft beer was in a frosty glass. It was a great stop after kayaking on Lake Woodlands in the August heat.

I ordered one taco. The #1. It's an egg, cheese, and bacon breakfast taco. I ordered it with a flour tortilla and no cheese. So the ingredients were: bacon egg tortilla. It took them 20 minutes. To make that one taco. The restaurant had maybe, 9 people eating, and 8 that were done or finishing their meal. 20 minutes for 1 portion of bacon egg tortilla. Absolutely pathetic. It would be understandable if they gave a wait time. But whether you're ordering 1, 2, 3 or 25 tacos, they will not give you a turnaround time or wait time. So if you are in a hurry and want one taco, go elsewhere.

Absolutely, hands down...some of the best tacos my family and I have ever eaten. We had Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, Brushfire, Republican, and Democrat. The bog winners were Baja Shrimp and Trailer Park (trashy)! We ordered 3 days in a row for pick-up. Tow of the three days, we drove back later in the evening to order more. The service was awesome and fast, they gave us plenty of sauces for dipping, and even offered us soft drinks while we waited. Next time we're in Houston, they'll get hit again...and again!

I visited here 3 times and all different times from last year till now and haven't had any bad experiences. Staff was friendly and food was good.

Torchy’s Tacos has always been a favorite of mine. n nTrailer park (trashy classy) is the best! nQueso never disappoints. nAnd don’t forget to get a marg! n nThe food came out fast and hot, and service was wonderful.
