Famous Cajun Grill - The Woodlands

I visited this restaurant today and while waiting to pay, I noticed cockroaches scurrying around the register and moving from the back to the front where they prepare food. This was in the food court, and they were German cockroaches, which are notoriously hard to eradicate if someone knows pest control. I mentioned it to the staff, paid for my meal, and immediately threw it in the trash. I won't be coming back to this place in the Woodlands Mall.

I come to this mall frequently. I've eaten at this restaurant several times. This is the second time I found hair in my food. When you visit you'll notice that they don't wear hair covering some wear hats but obviously it doesn't do a good enough job.

The experience was truly enjoyable. The food was a bit inconsistent in temperature, but I would definitely go back.

This was my first time to this type of restaurant. I had the shrimp, sweet plantain and green beans. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing! They serve you a lot for a meat and two sides.I had never had plantains this way and really enjoyed them. The only complaint was that the green beans were a little salty for my taste. I don’t use much salt. I would eat here again.

Food was cool. The chicken was good. The rice and noodles ok. The egg roll was straight. It’s alright but I want to go back to see how it is a second time.
