Metro Diner - The Villages

I ordered fish and chips and wasnt told until after I arrived to pick up that they didnt have any fish. so I had to wait 20 more minutes for them to make my replacement order. I wish they had contacted me to offer me an option as soon as they knew they didnt have fish.

The green beans are fantastic, and the mashed potatoes are excellent. The meatloaf is very good, though I wish it had more onions in it, as I enjoy that flavor. In the future, it would be nice to have cheese grits available instead of just regular potatoes. Baked potatoes or sweet potatoes would also be great options. Overall, I’m still a huge fan of this place!

The Breakfast Burger was amazing! The eggs were scrambled to perfection, and the burger was cooked exactly as I requested.

I usually love Metro Diner and find the food to be great. However, I made the mistake of ordering turkey and dressing out of season. My DoorDash dinner tonight was disappointing—what I got was slices of dry deli turkey and a spoonful of dry stuffing. It was not good at all.

Big Mikes BLT was a Big disappointment Burnt tough bacon. I/2 tomato mostly bread and lettuce. Avocado toast so so .... 3 cheese grilled sandwich was good. Choc cake was dry but icing seemed to be ok. I have had their food before and it was good. After tonights experience probably our last.
