Grand Duk - The Rocks

We had breakfast at this restaurant during our stay in Sydney and all we can say is that our whole family loved it! The service was friendly and helpful, the food was generous and tasty (especially the crispy bacon!), and the coffee was the best we've ever had. Thank you Grand Duk for making our stay even better. Love, the Running Around Australia family.

There are plenty of seats under cover and shielded from the wind at this restaurant. The food was excellent and made with fresh ingredients, although it was disappointing that they had run out of salad. Instead, I had to settle for two servings of Chinese vegetables, which was a bit unexpected for a restaurant. Nevertheless, the chicken dish I ordered was delicious, as were the other meals that my friends ordered.

We went to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation and we had lunch there. The food was quite good and the portions were generous enough to be considered a full meal. The meat was cooked well, especially for pub fare. I would definitely return there for lunch or drinks again in the future.

After I went to so many restorers and bars in Australia that have absolutely no service and let you go to the bar to order and pick up your food, I was pleased to find that the Grand Duk had waiters who actually came to my table and took my order. The place is nothing special; a short lunch place for the office crowd. The lunch specialities offer really good value that I have to say. The pasta was okay and the rest of the meal (Picky Chicken) was nothing special at all.

This place was right by our hotel so decided to drop by for breakfast. Looks good and tastes good, the veggies were fresh and it got my day started on a happy note.
