Amazing food , lovely cosy fire, friendly staff, O not forgetting fab wine xxx well recommended , hope to go again very soon , just reopened a couple of weeks ago , hope they do really well, love the place, good luck to them X

We have been three times now for meals and I cannot fault it at all we all enjoyed our meals, lovely friendly pub.

A hidden gem when it comes to Pubs in the Peak District. After a long drive and a good walk we found this off the beaten track and I'm not sure what was best the food (probably the best steak and kidney pie I've had), the atmosphere (friendly, relaxed and good vibes) or the beer (great local beers and a great variety). Exactly what I had hoped for in a pub in the Peak District!
