Bidrage med feedbackFirst time visiting here for my birthday. The food was really good the service was great. Our waitress was very attentive very nice, I wish I could remember her name. My only complaint was that something made me very sick. I?m not sure if it was the pepper in the boil, the oil or if it was the calamari but I ended up getting very sick violently throwing up, shaking. I?ll visit again next time but I?ll stay away from the calamari spicy seafood boil.
Came here with my wife for our first time. We saw it by luck and decided to give it a try and I?m so glad we did. Staff was great and the food was amazing. I got the boiled shrimp in the full house sauce and it was incredible. The seafood gumbo was perfect and my wife?s fried oysters were the best she?s ever had in her opinion. The prices aren?t bad at all and the service was good. We will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Food is good. King crab one leg is 49.99 so make sure to bring some money with you. Shrimp po-boy was delicious. Shrimps was fried but not overly cooked, mayo and condiments on side, Cajun fries were a perfect combo. We tried the famous mix with garlic, Cajun spice, and lemon pepper I preferred the regular Cajun instead of mix. The famous mix has a sweet taste . But the crawfish was still nicely cooked and fresh. The king crab was sweet and very moiste. Good place to try ifyou love seafood. Hush puppies is just corn bread balls with corn nothing special but still good. Onion rings are a nice light taste of onion not over powering. Me and my daughter got sick after but other then that the food was still good.
I have been going to Famous Crab for about 4 years now, and did not have an issue until today. Our waitress was super rude, and even rolled her eyes when we asked her to dump out the seafood boil because we didn’t want it in the bag. We had never had a rude servers before. Other than that, the food was still great.
I never leave reviews but must say that the food was amazing! I have been to many places in Dallas but only very few have good seasoning. Was hungry and this place is near Hobby Airport. I personally don't like to taste garlic in my mouth or butter, I ordered the full house special mild but wished I would have tried the spicy. You can taste the spices but they don't leave that taste in your mouth after you eat. They blend well together. You are left with wanting more and wanting to drink the juice. I did not but it was that delicious to my taste buds. Next time I'm in Houston, I will be taking my family to dine in!Juanita H.
