Krazy Katsu Udon

Great food the last two visits!Tried to eat there on 3/29 during posted business hours and door was locked. Just (4/4) attempted to place a take-out order via phone (called 3 times) and no answer. I believe they might be closed due to lack of staff.

This is by far the worst food I 've had in a long time. I spent $50 and waited 30 minutes for this piece of ****. Threw it out after first bite. Curry is literally like water and the slices of potatoes inside are absolutely disgusting. Katsu is SOAKED in oil and this mysterious mac salad on the side is absolutely horrible. The owner told us he ran out of curry and asked if we would like udon instead. The Udon was probably the only thing edible. Just absolutely horrific experience never coming back here. This business should be closed.

This was previously my go to spot for pork katsu. Recently we noticed a change in the pork katsu plate. It's like the meat is now beaten down and thinner instead of the thicker chop that they had before. The salad quality got a little less fresh. They started using different packaging and at the same time the food seems like it's a little different then before. Price has gone up and food isn't as good as before. Every time we go we punch in our clover phone number to earn a free item and we are still punching the number as recently as 2/18/2022 but I checked my clover app and I couldn't find the app anymore. The management hasn't said anything about cancelling the program and in the store we still punch in the number assuming we get credit but when I look at the clover app it's like the store isn't running the program. I think if this isn't valid anymore they should tell us or at the least let us redeem the points we had collected because I think we eared a free pork katsu. Not sure what the situation is with that.

The kastu waa fresh and crispy. All the sides was pretty good as well. Matched well with the main course. Overall a filling meal.

We stopped by on a Wednesday night and it was pretty slow. This restaurant is a cute little spot in Spring Branch. Ordered to go and the man behind the counter was the one who cooked it as well. I saw him do everything and know the food was FRESH!!! Meat was tender we ordered pork and chicken. I recommend the pork more as it was definitely tastier. Side dishes were okay, could be better. The best part of the meal though was the UDON!!! Super tasty and had a nice kick to it! I would 100% go back because of that. Nice quick dinner on a weekday. :
