The service was very excellent. The waitress Graciela treated us very kindly.

Today, July 31, I went at around 10 pm to have the ugliest waitresses take a family of friends of ours and the waitress treated them very poorly. And I asked the other waitresses for something and those faces that twist their mouths at someone who are so ugly are new, the attention has changed a lot. Although the one who is charging is very friendly as always. The food is delicious. I have been going to this place for 10 years but today the service was terrible from the waitresses, 0 zero stars.

We were so grateful that Don Rey had electricity today after Hurricane Beryl left us without power. We had never eaten here before and we loved it. Their green salsa is the best I've ever had, and and chips are so incredibly tasty. We loved their quesadillas, too. (Chicken and beef were equally as good. We found the beef exceptionally tender and well seasoned. Service was excellent and it's a fun place to eat. We will definitely come back. We've lived in Sharpstown for over 50 years and never knew Don Rey was a neighbor favorite until today, thanks to the Sharpstown Neighborhood Facebook group.

My experience was with birria taco is so good ...but my daughter order chiken breast grill ...and very good plate...
