Wok Xpress - The Colony

I haven't dined at this restaurant. The business decided to distribute promotional flyers under every door in my apartment complex—across three floors of units. As a result, their ads are now scattered throughout the complex. We certainly don't need more litter and paper waste in our environment. Unless they change their approach—perhaps by mailing flyers to avoid them getting blown around or by shifting to digital advertising—or better yet, addressing their low reviews so they don't have to depend so much on advertising and discounts, I won't be paying a visit.

Egg rolls were drenched in grease. They were disgusting and had no flavor. The orange chicken needs more orange juice. It has to much soy sauce or brown sugar where it just taste more like BBQ sauce for some reason. Vegetable rice was ok. Delivery and customer service was good.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant, and it was a complete disappointment. I ordered egg rolls, but they didn’t even deliver those. I requested my rice extra dark, and it came out lighter than bar soap. The beef lo mein was bland and lacked flavor, and I couldn’t even tell if the sesame chicken was really chicken. The only positive aspect was that the delivery took about 20 minutes. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

Why are your doors locked during business hours? The sign says on the front doors “these are to remain unlocked during business hours” there is no reason for me to place a call in just to sit in the drive through, it completely defeats the purpose of being in and out quickly. Haven’t ate the food yet so can’t speak on it

The Mongolian Beef had a decent flavor, but it was far too low on sauce for my taste. Additionally, it was overloaded with onions. While I do enjoy sautéed onions, the balance of meat to onion to other ingredients in this dish was completely off. I was really let down by the small amount of beef. As for the fried rice, it was extremely plain—just regular white rice that had been fried. Would I return? Probably. However, I wouldn’t order the Mongolian Beef again. I’d definitely get a bunch of Egg Rolls and try a different entrée that has less filler.
