It may have been the choices that we had, but it was not extremely impressive. Everything was essentially average. My son got fried fish and shrimp, my wife got fried fish, and I had fried shrimp and oysters. My wife and I had Caesar salads instead offries, and my son had fries with his. The most impressive thing on the menu was the Creole ranch dipping sauce. It wasphenomenal. I give it five stars. The oysters were mixed with you, as some of them had more batter than oyster. I am a fan offish that is fried hard, so it was a little soft for my taste. It easily fell apart. The quality of the fish was good. Thebatter that they used was not heavily seasoned, which gave room for the Creole ranch to be explosive and phenomenal. Maybewe'll have to try some different items upon our next visit. I was looking at fish tacos which definitely maybe an option, inaddition to crawfish tacos, shrimp tacos.

We had fish chips delivered from Uber Eats and it was close to the best I've ever had (considering it was delivery!! . The fish was so fresh (and a lot of it! and the breading was so light and crunchy. The fries had the perfect crisp as well andseasoning. I can't wait to order again!

The shrimp cocktail was only average. However, I appreciated the dog-friendly patio. The shaded dog park was the standout feature among all the restaurants at The Shacks. My dog definitely approved!

Delicious food and excellent service! My oyster po-boy was so overflowing that I could barely hold it together! We decided to go because my wife was craving fried shrimp, but she was thrilled to find they offered sweet potato fries as well. The indoor seating is quite limited, but the outdoor area is right next to a dog park, which is nice. While we don’t drink, the bar seems to have a good selection. We will definitely be returning!

I spent $26 on the firecracker shrimp and the fried oyster basket. The shrimp tasted similar to the frozen fried shrimp you can buy at Walmart. As for the fried oysters, they were crunchier than pigskin. I was very disappointed.
