Applebee's - The Bronx

For the past 15 years, Applebee's has been my go-to spot for date night every week. However, I felt compelled to write this review to urge the corporate department to take immediate action. The workers here are clearly suffering, exhausted, and overworked. During my recent visit, I witnessed the bartender being left alone with a full cash register, customers leaving without paying, and a large crowd of people patiently waiting but becoming increasingly annoyed at the long wait to settle their bills. It was evident that the staff was overwhelmed, with waiters running around trying to attend to multiple tables at once, and only one busboy who was rushing to clear tables as quickly as possible. As a business administrator myself, it is clear to me that Applebee's is exploiting their employees. Each time I visit, there seems to be a new face instead of the familiar ones we once knew, which is unacceptable. The food is always amazing, but even the dishes arrive dirty at times. This deterioration in service is concerning, and action needs to be taken immediately to support the hardworking staff at Applebee's. I am considering recording videos during my next visit and sharing them on social media to raise awareness. It is time to come together to save our beloved Applebee's location and provide the necessary support to the young employees who need help. Let's make a change and restore this neighborhood favorite to its former glory. #TakeActionASAP

The restaurant was very busy on Veteran's Day. They offered a free meal menu for veterans. The atmosphere was great with other veterans around. I enjoyed seeing the Missing Man P.O.W. display table in the restaurant. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

This restaurant falls short of Applebee's standards. The food is dry and tasteless, and they don't even have the classic dishes. This was the worst Applebee's experience I've had, and I wouldn't recommend wasting your money there.

My 110% honest review.. I went there recently on a Wednesday (kids eat free). Next time your server brings empty appetizer plates BEFORE the appetizers reach you Take a nice hard and closer look at how clean the plates are (sarcasm)... I put one up to the light and I saw a LOT swiped rag and water marks on the dingy plate. Food was subpar. Not great at all.. Applebees at Hunts Point Market area is better..My main concern was the fact that that all the plates they served our food on looked the way they did..smdh..I could have walked out and left the food. Ate it though because it was pretty late in the evening and we were all starving..Again food was subpar but the plates though.. Shame on that Applebees restaurant..Not kidding.. Look at the unused appetizer plates before you eat and I kid you not Nasty.. Not hatin' Just Statin'...DO BETTER...I took my family there and I used the guest water and napkins to redo what the actual dishwasher should've been doing....My compliments to the dishwashing staff and whomever oversees that line of work there...smdfh...Applebees THROGGS NECK IN THE BX DO BETTER..I wont EVER go there again...EVER .. Honest 110% opinion..Check their empty unused subpar washed appetizer plates if you go there..YUCK...Thank me later...
