Small chips they were not joking….never seen such a small portion of chips not even enough for a five year old. Should be embarrassed serving such small portions.

I thought I would try here today for a change....big mistake. I ordered regular chips,cod and curry sauce. I couldn't quite believe the small box handed to me along with the paper bag which had the pot of sauce,it just seemed far too small to...have the cod AND the chips in as my usual chippy sends a box twice the size full of just chips. When I opened it there was the smallest piece of cod I have ever seen. I've had bigger child's portion before. If they are regular chips then I'm glad I didn't buy the small portion. The photo shows a normal size dinner plate which usually I have to cut the cod in half just so I can get it on the plate. The cod was actually quite nice, the soft chips were nice but there was a lot of crunchy ones where there is just nothing soft inside and not a proper chip. The curry sauce was okay, usually at chippys you get either a dark brown sludge (horrid) or the yellow chunky one (nice), this was like a bit of both. I don't think I will be back as I just didn't feel it was as good value as other chippys like Mr chips or friends chippy.

Had two Haddock and chips today. The Fish was freshly cooked which was very encouraging and piping hot when we got it. However it wasn't great quality, too much oil and the chips soft and greasy. Wont be going back..

Excellent food value and choice cant fault it best fish and chips ever good staff always friendly would highly recommend
