Matadors Pizzeria - Thackerville

The restaurant offers fresh food and a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a late-night snack. They serve generous slices, and you also have the option to order a whole pizza. I really appreciate the variety of choices on the menu!

I was quite disappointed during my recent visit. When I tried to order from the menu on the page, the staff acted as if they couldn't understand me. I also inquired about some specials that were listed, but didn’t seem to be available in the restaurant. They really need to remove outdated information to avoid misleading customers. I ended up spending more than I expected. To top it off, the girl with blonde and black hair had a really negative attitude, which just added to the bad experience.

The pizza was overly salty, and the dough was not very appealing. The staff seemed disengaged and not interested. The slices were extremely small for the price of $5. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I decided to check in again, and the staff assured me that they would bring the pasta soon, so I returned to my seat. We finished the pizza, yet still no pasta arrived. Frustrated, I went up to the counter to request a refund, only to find the employee and a female staff member cozying up and chatting. He had his arms around her shoulders, whispering in her ear while on the clock, completely unprofessional and in front of customers. When he finally noticed me, he grabbed the pasta from where it had been sitting and started adding cheese to it. I told him, “No thanks, I want a refund.”

The cheese on the pizza had a cardboard-like taste, but the service was excellent. I suggest considering something other than pizza… For vegetarians, there are salad options available.
