Sat outside on the verandah and had a very pleasant lunch here. Service was great and food fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are generous so make sure you have an appetite to match. Was tempted to try the cold liquid refreshments but after a capachino that was enough for two I felt I may be biting off more than I can chew. Will have to return with reinforcements in the future. We hired Jaq Meri Coffee and Bistro to cater our daughter’s wedding, which was held on top of a mountain with no running water and electricity. It was a challenging situation, but Jacques and his team exceeded all our expectations. When we first told Jacques about the circumstances, he pointed over to his open plan restaurant kitchen and told us that his whole menu is centred around cooking on open flames. He was clearly our guy! He created an epic harvest table, with fresh and delicious ingredients, as the sun was setting over the horizon. The main meal was centred around fillet steak tender, juicy and flavourful, and it came straight from the fire to the wedding table. Everyone was raving about the food and the service, and I can’t thank Jacques enough for his calm reassurance, nailing the vision and making our children's special day even more memorable. He and his team are professional, friendly and talented, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great catering experience. Thank you, Jaq Meri!
