Candy Shack Daiquiris - Texas City

This place is incredibly sweet! Just a heads-up: some of the flavors can be so sugary that they might leave you with a bit of a headache or sore teeth, but overall, everything is delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and I appreciate the drive-thru option. I find that even the small sizes pack quite a punch, so the drinks are quite strong. I highly recommend this spot because it's both affordable and tasty. You can either choose from their flavor combinations or create your own, and they also offer various candy options. If you decide to enjoy your drink there, they have fun games like giant Jenga that you can play with friends. The atmosphere is really nice too!

We attempted to visit for date night on Wednesday, August 10th. After checking their hours and menu online, we were looking forward to enjoying some drinks. However, when we drove by at 9:11 PM, we found the restaurant closed. The hours indicated on the front of the building and online say they close at 10 PM. We were very disappointed. I advise being cautious about making the trip, as you might end up wasting gas if they happen to be closed.

Each time I visit this place, the staff is quite rude. In addition to the poor service, the daiquiris are overpriced and just average at best. I also ordered an extra shot to be added to my daiquiri, but it came in a vile that froze, clearly indicating it wasn't alcohol. I definitely do not recommend spending your time here. Instead, head across the street to Sonic, grab a slushy, and add your own alcohol. It's a thousand times better and more affordable than this place.

The girl did a fantastic job making our drinks; we ordered three cocktails with extra candy, and they were delicious. She also had a wonderful personality!

I've visited other Candy Shack locations, but none compare to my experience at this one! I absolutely loved the staff—Ms. Philly was fantastic! She had the best recommendations and was incredibly kind.
