Hi-do Bakery - Terrytown

Best kept secret of bakeries in NOLA. There are a handful of worthwhile bakeries in the city, but Hi-Do has long been a hidden gem.

This quaint gem is a family owned bakery in Terrytown, Louisiana. They are a full service bakery but we primarily buy the croissants scones. I prefer the ham cheese croissants where as my wife prefers the chocolate covered chocolate filled or chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled croissants. Great customer service. Croissants are okay. Only because I lived in Europe for 5 years so my expectations are lil high.. But my mother loves them.

Everything is so fresh on the Westbank and creative, too.

My aunt got me a chocolate croissant for my birthday and it was so delicious. 10/10!!!!
