I spent $80 (not including cash tip) for 5 people. The milkshakes were good, but the burgers were disappointing. We didn't order anything too complicated, a couple plain burgers and 2 with some ingredients (lettuce, mayo, pickle, etc All we got were 5 plain burgers, no toppings, and by the time we got home we couldn't go back to fix things. Very disappointing experience for how much I spent. I would not recommend.
Don't understand how hard it is to make fresh fries while you wait on them to make your fresh hamburger or anything else they have to make fresh. Instead they give you fries that have been sitting there for God knows how long and are so tough you can't even eat them.
The Handburger at this restaurant is lacking in flavor and too expensive. I appreciate the variety of toppings available, but unfortunately, that is the only aspect that stood out. Personally, I am not a fan of having a salad on my burger. The fries were also overpriced and not enjoyable as they were soft and soggy. The shakes were decent and the best part of the meal, but for the price of $20, I only received a burger, small fry, and regular shake. I find myself needing to revisit this restaurant every few years to remember why I do not enjoy dining there.
I don't usually eat burgers (trying to train for marathons,) but if I have a Burger craving, Five Guys is where I go. My go-to meal is a cheeseburger (comes with 2 patties, but can also be ordered as a smaller junior burger with 1 patty) with lettuce, pickles, mayo, and a side of fries. The burgers are customized to your liking and when they call your number and hand you the greasy paper bag, you know you're in for a treat. The fries are fresh with the skin on and while the burger may not look fancy, the taste is unbeatable. If I could rate the food 6 stars, I would definitely do it. The only downside (albeit a minor one) is that the prices are on the higher side. A double cheeseburger, small fries, and a regular drink will cost you $11.63 with tax. Ouch! The burgers are delicious and although I still indulge from time to time, I can't go as frequently as I'd like because it's pricey. Five Guys would do well to consider offering larger patties or reducing their prices. Overall, it's great food that will satisfy any burger enthusiast!
