Comfortable chair an table, linnen is clean and ironed like in Michelin Restaurant, glasses for each wine, big investment on Riedel Family..... Everything is under control, Manolo and his daughter run the tables easy and terrific! Good job. Eating is something easy in la bodeguilla, short menu at excellent 25 €, plus beberages, but been honest, is like a gift! 3 dishes as starters, including Joselito,s ham, artichokes with tasty prawns and creamy cod fish rissoto, main to choose and a house made dessert, we order cava Recaredo and rioja Marqués de Riscal, lovely prices for excellent wines, and finish the meeting with a glass of an incredible lowland !! Are you missing a place like this?? Call to book asap!!
Wish I could give 3.5 stars, but given the strong reviews that we read going in, appropriate to round down rather than up. Service was very slow from the start, and didn 't improve. Two of our tapas selections were quite good: the room temperature eggs with foie sauce and truffles stupendous , and the massive piece of salt cured foie gras yummy! . The other two dishes, however, fell flat. The tuna tartare was merely ok, while the pork shoulder with leeks and mustard was, at most, barely cooked. I couldn 't eat it. Given the lengthy delay in getting it to the table, I couldn 't imagine waiting for it to be sent back to the kitchen, so I gave it to my spouse, who enjoys less than rare meat. He thought it tasted fine, but very few people would have gone there. To the restaurant 's credit, I was not charged for the pork because of the long delay in getting it to the table. Tab for the night with a bottle of wine was 85 Euro.
Hacía muchos años que no visitábamos este restaurante, pero el lugar ha mejorado considerablemente. Es agradable y elegante. En cuanto a la comida, todo es excelente. Aunque el precio es un poco elevado, vale la pena pagar por la calidad. Muy recomendable.
El vecindario no es excelente, pero el restaurante está muy bien. Recomiendo las cocochas al pil pil y las croquetas de Joselito.
Passing by this restaurant does not give any lead of what is going on inside. Just go for the chef's menu and you will be more than pleasantly surprised! Very good quality, surprising combinations, friendly staff.
