Bidrage med feedbackPeople seem to be divided in this place and the decoration and ambience do not do it a favor. No music ever so a little unpleasant, we were the only customers and the outside looks like you would go into a long closed garage. But we were hungry and had tried bad looking places with good results in city centers. The bathrooms were scary and one was out of service. That's the negative. The dosa was delicious and crispy, the wiper and the potato were spicy and tasteful, and the peanut chutney was also good. I also had the cardamom tea and ended with ordering another. Five stars because they make a step away and service was friendly. But it's a contextual five stars.
I hate checking places badly, but that was necessary. I went from the previous reviews and I can't understand how this place has good reviews. Sure, they're kind, like for the food it was terrible. For a steep price of $16 for butter chicken as tourists I didn't expect much of it until I restored it. This is neither authentic nor delicious. There was no taste. It can't even be chickens for butter. Only chicken was cooked with some sauce from a can. Something that could be done easily if someone follows the direction behind it. I really wouldn't mind paying the price, but for it. I felt it deserved only the price of the Pope I paid. That's an honest criticism.
The chicken dum biryani was excellent. There were four of us, and everyone, even the vegetarian, enjoyed their meals. I believe the kitchen was a bit slow, as our dishes didn’t all arrive at the same time, which would have been nice. Nevertheless, as a couple, we’re definitely planning to return.
I stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Having visited many Indian restaurants before, I was initially concerned that the food in this remote location might be overly spicy. However, I tried the chicken dosa, and it was both delicious and flavorful. The service was quick and efficient as well. I will definitely return!
I have some constructive feedback to share. I tried the chicken and was quite disappointed. It tasted more like Thai curry chicken than traditional butter chicken. There was no rich yogurt or buttery flavor; instead, it had a bland coconut milk base. The chicken pieces resembled the small cubes found in microwave dinners. The color was an odd beige instead of the expected reddish-orange, and the portion size was on the smaller side. Additionally, the restaurant’s interior felt quite cheap and could use some improvement in design. I hope that both the butter chicken recipe and the restaurant's ambiance are updated in the future.
