Restaurante Clotilde

In the small town of Teotihuacan there is not much to choose. Most tourists make day trips and buses take them to the terrible tourist buffet restaurants. We were actually in town looking for a good restaurant. This, like many in the city, unfortunately at 6:00. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the interior is not much better, but the food and service are excellent. We wish the menu was more extensive, but we had good meals anyway. The tortilla soup is fantastic. I have the Tacos de Arrachera and my wife the salmon. Both dishes were delicious and came with first-class presentation. Very good choice when you're in town.

We ate twice in this restaurant and the food was wonderful. We had Tacos, the Lenden Torta, the Salat and Hamburger and two Desserts. All were excellent.

We visited this place twice during our visit to Teotihuacan, we could return for a third time, but it was a short stay. The staff was friendly and delivered very good suggestions. Food was delicious, place was convenient and the gin and tonics are amazing. First visit we ordered sopis, mole, salad, narrow elephants. We had cocktails for drinks. The second visit was during breakfast, so we ordered Chilaquiles, the fruit bowl, a few fresh coffee (please don't hesitate to order your coffee with an additional shot of espresso) and some butter pan de muerto.

We were picked up at our hotel and drove to the restaurant, which was very sweet from the restaurant owners! The food was great! We went for the dishes we were recommended and we were not disappointed. We had a great night, thank you!

Head and shoulders above anything in the area. First class service and excellent cuisine. I plan on eating there again before we leave.
