Bidrage med feedbackStopped in town to enjoy The Totality but totally enjoyed the steak and Caesar salad This was unexpected gem in a not so little town. Great service match with a cool historical place on eclipsed by really great food. Although I really wanted a steak and it was so good, they actually have a pretty impressive, affordable lunch menu too. I recommend and will stop in again if I'm ever in the area
My wife and I ate there this past Saturday night. The server was great and this has nothing to do with her. The appetizers were good. The fondue was nice hot and gooey. We also had a shrimp one which was only ok. The dinner took a long time to be brought out. The server apologized a couple times. My wife 's dinner was good, just not hot. Mine was luke warm at best. Sorry, when i come to a high end restaurant expectations are for better food and service than this. Took a special night and turned into we should have gone to .... Disappointed to say the least.
My second time here, but first time for lunch! Wonderful lunch menu, good portion- had leftovers. Reasonable price for lunch for a steakhouse. Crème of brûlée is always a hit when I come here.
Our steak was perfect, however their house wine terrible , their over priced side orders sautéed mushrooms not really sautéed, dry and rubbery, even the asparagus was bland and flavorous. Our appetizers very disappointing. crab cakes deep fried, crab invisible and cheese platter had almost no cheese and we couldn 't even tell which was the blue cheese but the fruit served with it was good. Again, steak was outstanding and service good but a giant waste of money on our wine, side and appetizers orders.
Appalling and embarrassing all at once. I took clients to dinner here, a group of 12. I called to make a reservation and asked for a quiet area of the restaurant as we wanted to discuss business. I was offered a private room with an up charge of $150 and I accepted that. Well there was no good reason for it because the entire restaurant was empty. Not a soul in the dining room.
