Bidrage med feedbackWow! This was my first time here and definitely not my last. A little hole in the wall but so much magic inside. As soon as you open the door you’re greeted with amaaaazing smells from the open kitchen. The ambiance was perfect, the service amazing. The steaks were seasoned so well and the chefs really knew how to bring out the flavors of the food. I can’t wait to go back! ?
Wow !!! It's amazing how one person can either make your experience a one and done, or I just can't get enough of this place !!!Well let me tell you.... the owner of The Peppermill, Becky Bolar is beyond amazing in how much she ENJOYS and cares about her patrons. This lady went above and beyond to make sure our party of six was taken care of.At first glimpse, you wouldn't even notice this place exist. It literally is a hole in the wall, but what you will find behind the door is anything short of exemplary. If you minus the waitress/hostess who sested us this place I would say compares on the level of another great STEAK restaurant in the valley, I'd go as far as say, it may even be a slight bit better !!!We all ordered different versions of steak, from regular flat iron to filet mignon. The steaks were presented with jaw dropping smells !!!!These pristine cuts were cut, cooked and delivered to PERFECTION.They literally melted in your mouth. You can't even imagine how delicious these steaks were. This writer couldn't even imagine a steak with more taste then the one that was presented to me or the rest of the table it was beyond words. So, on the bad side there was a minor misunderstanding and because of that the owner jumped into action and corrected it without even batting an eyelash, she presented a desert plate that was to die for , from fudge cubes to lemon cake, from Tiramisu pudding to coffee cake , there had to be 8 different items on it. Another example of doing the right thing.Bottom line,I can't recommend this place enough..Out of 5 stars I would give this a 5.0.Please........ Please ..... if you love a great meal, great service and a great time , look no further...
I was a server for 10 years, so I hate leaving a negative review, but my husband and I just had one of the worst experiences we’ve had in a very, very long time at a restaurant. Our server Morgan was one of the most inattentive servers we’ve ever had—we barely saw her the entire dining experience, she avoided our table and even our gaze as we looked around the restaurant or as we looked around when our entrees took a long time to come out. We waited for 10-15 minutes before even being greeted by Morgan, even though she was the one who initially showed us to the table, we had to stop her and let her know we were ready to order our entrees after an even longer time waiting for my husband’s cocktail and then our one appetizer. Morgan never came to the table to check on us, refill our water, clear our plates, nothing. After we received our entrees an hour and 15 minutes after we had been sat at the restaurant, Morgan simply dropped the food down and walked away—did not bother to ask if there was anything else we needed, did not come back at any point to check to see if everything was cooked to our liking…again, nothing. The only time she came back was to drop the check after another one of the other servers cleared our entree plates. Morgan did not offer us dessert, after dinner drinks, or anything like that—just dropped the check, clearly bothered by our existence.Again I’ve been in the industry as a server for a long time, I get the ins and outs and I get that things happen that are out of your control, but basic care about your guests is the one thing that is 100% within your control as a server, and Morgan had so little care for us as her guests, and clearly did not want to be bothered by us. Very sad and disappointed to have dropped $140 on a date night that was supposed to be special with my husband, just to feel not only neglected, but deliberately avoided. A little communication with your guests goes a long way—if she had stopped by our table just to let us know what was going on with the food, or to make sure that our waters were full, that would have gone so far.I do want to shout out a server who was not our server, Kelly—she was friendly, happy, refilled our waters, cleared our appetizer and entrees, and did more for us even though we weren’t her table.
Visited Saturday, August 26th, at 5:30 pm, a party of 6 to celebrate a birthday. 4 steaks ordered, 1 pork and 1 chicken. The scallop potatoes needed seasoning, but the proteins everyone enjoyed. Our drinks ran dry, but there were only 2 servers. The restaurant is very small and they keep their extra furniture in front of the kitchen like a storage area due to the lack of space. The best item was the let the chef pick your meal lobster mashed potatoes were amazing. They are not on the menu to order, so we may not be frequent patrons.
Excellent food and service. Everything I was expecting. My glass never ran dry and the food was cooked to perfection. Top notch.Parking: Easy parking lots of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Lots of space and plenty of room for wheel chairs.
