Panera Bread - Tempe

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, especially for my sister. If I could rate it, I would give it a zero. The food was awful, but the real issue was how my sister was treated. She was harassed by another customer, and the employees did nothing to intervene; in fact, they even laughed during the situation. The service was terrible, the food was subpar, and the staff's behavior was unacceptable. Overall, a very negative experience.

Panera Bread has established an effective business model that generates solid profits. However, I would recommend that the owners provide training for their predominantly white American staff to foster a more welcoming environment for all customers, especially those from underrepresented groups. Additionally, I've encountered some rudeness from a manager at this location, which is quite disappointing.

I think it would have been helpful to know that they have canceled their own delivery service and are now using DoorDash, which takes much longer. There was no information about this on their app, and I only found out after I had placed my order and checked the tracking. The delivery wasn’t scheduled through the restaurant's website because I was unwell. I’m left wondering why there are extra fees and higher prices when they could have processed my order directly through their own site or app. It feels a bit shady, especially considering they were already overpriced.

Eating was good, but portioning quite small, I in the ground it was a whole baguette with a small side of teriyaki huhn
