Lido - Tempe

The staff was great and so were the drinks. Went for the Valentine's day special and the environment set the tone for a great meal. The food was okay at best. Definitely not worth the price. For as much as you spend here, there are many better tasting restaurants in the valley.

Ordered the scallops, only got two, and it wasn’t even wrapped in bacon. Servers mixed up our order twice, delivered the wrong item once. View was nice, but not worth the price.

My first visit to this restaurant was on Valentine's Day. The staff who greeted and seated us were friendly. The first and second courses were served promptly. However, we had to wait a long time for our main course, which unfortunately arrived cold. Both plates were cold and the sea bass was overly fishy. Despite informing the waiter, no action was taken and no replacement was provided, even after my girlfriend sent her dish back. We were told that the waiter would inform the manager. Dessert took a long time to arrive, and we were eager to leave by that point. I felt sorry for another couple near us who experienced delays in their meal service. It seemed like the restaurant was poorly managed, and the quality of the food did not justify the prices. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Valentine’s Day I took my wife to an early dinner. It was raining so we sat inside. They had richly decorated the place with lots of red and white. The menu was a special one. You each had your choice. Madison was our waitress and she is top notch. Never pushy, was always helpful. Big warm smile. She works to make sure that everything is perfect. Drinks were very nice, great flavors. Food was delivered and was hot(if supported to be) and was very good. The presentation of the food was very nice. Not thrown on a plate. The noise level was quite low for the amount of people there. They had a musician and it was nice, soft background guitar. My thanks to Lido for coming thru, and to the cooks and staff. All was blessedly great.

Just go for drinks and the view, food sucks and is way over priced.
