The Original Pancake House - Temecula

I just love the apple cake in the original Pancake House. I was in many of the surrounding countries. Chicago, Orange County California, Seattle even the original house in Portland, Oregon. Every time the quality and consistency of this wonderful pancake is the reason why I always come to enjoy this special treat. Yes You can order regular breakfast items, but if you have never had the apple cake, you must try this! You will never remember to order regular breakfast items in this restaurant. Waiting to sit was fast. The hostess and waitress were really nice. The food was just bad. Pancakes were dry and small without taste. The sausage connections were garbage and cold. Eggs were normal. Not ORDER SAUSAGE LINKS. Total- not coming back. ty The End.

Its been years since I ate here! Let me first start with how yummy the coffee is here wow! When we arrived we had just a 20 minute wait. We actually sat were seated in 15 minutes. We ordered our food and it came right out! Although it does take some extra time for the apple pancake to be made we were so lucky that one was ready due to an error at someone else's table!!!! So I tried this apple pancake loaded with cinnamon and apples it was so delicious! Wonderful service and wonderful food thank you

Waiting for a table didn't take long. Our food came out pretty quick, maybe 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered. Potato pancakes and buttermilk pancakes ALWAYS delicious. Our server, Paola was very nice!

You know it was really good! I sat down and was almost overwhelmed by the options in front of me. So many delicious things I could try! There's something for everyone here. To be honest, I was intimidated by the pricing a bit. It was kinda pricey in my opinion. But then I saw the care and attention to detail they provided during our meal and I understood. It's quality quantity. They do what they do very well and they give you a lot of it. I still thing they are slightly overcharging for certain things (like added fruit to your pancakes or chocolate chips). I definitely would bring people here from out of town because it's a classic breakfast stop, with options for everyone to enjoy!
