Carter Estate Winery Resort - Temecula

Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and clean, equipped with wine glasses and a corkscrew. It also had a mini fridge, a safe, and a few bottles of water. Although we didn't use the TV or fireplace during our stay, both were available. The views from all rooms are amazing, but we especially loved our east-facing room. Right outside our patio door was a lovely vineyard where we could stroll, and the tasting room was just a short walk away. The most unexpected and delightful surprise was witnessing hot air balloons launching right outside our patio in the early morning. We had no idea they operated from this property, and it was an unforgettable highlight of our trip. A continental breakfast was included, and after checking in, we found a menu in our room. You simply hang it on the door with your selections and the desired delivery time. Just keep your expectations realistic; if you're looking for a hefty breakfast spread, you might want to look elsewhere. However, we enjoyed it while watching the morning balloon launch. We only stayed one night, so we didn't have the chance to use the pool, but we noticed it, along with a hot tub. While the pool isn't extravagant, we saw plenty of guests enjoying themselves. There’s a covered patio area with tables, chairs, a few cabanas, and pool lounge chairs. There was also a small grill operating during certain hours. A nice touch was the water bottle refill station at the pool, which was convenient since we had brought our own bottles. Getting a Lyft to Old Town Temecula at night was smooth, and it took about 15-20 minutes. Overall, the amenities were great and well-suited for guests who are likely out exploring the wineries or Temecula during the day. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was spacious and comfortable. I was particularly impressed by the staff, especially Michael, who showed remarkable kindness and attentiveness when we asked for help late in the evening. This made our experience truly outstanding. Rooms: 5/5

We had a fantastic experience! Our families rented four bungalows, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and offered stunning views of the hot air balloons in the morning. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious.

Waking up to this beautiful scenery was amazing. It was a wonderful experience coming here to stay. I recommend coming here if you come and visit Temecula and go to the wineries. I will definitely be coming back.

The property and staff were great, wish we had daily room service for new towels and made up bed. The winery staff and the front desk staff were very helpful and kind and addressed problems immediately.
